	Digitec Performance Remaps - probably the most cost effective £ per BHP tuning money can buy! A Digitec remap optimises your fuelling, timing and turbo boost pressure which is managed by your Engine Control Unit in your Smart. A new Digitec program is simply uploaded and overwrites your existing settings; not dissimilar to adding a new program to your home computer! The program, once loaded cannot be lost through any means other than rewriting another program over the top again!
Digitec Stage 1: An uncomplicated, no fuss service with 12mths return-to-base warranty* at a sensible price, from just £150 for a Digitec ECU Performance Remap and a further £32 for an itg Performance Air Filter (unless of course you already have one!). Typical results from our fortwo maps produce around 74bhp for a 599cc and 84bhp for the 698cc, both are generally 61bhp as standard. Previous results from our roadster maps have produced anywhere from 95bhp to 117bhp from a standard 80bhp car. Test results on a remapped Brabus fortwo have shown 103.7bhp and 130ft lbs of torque. Brabus roadster is the highly acclaimed 125bhp version.

Digitec Stage 2: Traditionally, the Digitec Stage 2 included the fitment of a Digitec branded uprated TIK pipe. However, with current prices of Smart's own Brabus 74kw TIK pipe at an all-time low we now offer this as an alternative instead. Just £51 is the cost the Brabus TIK pipe and £2.50 for a new seal (where required) or £100 fitted. The silicone TIK pipe is £90 (no seal required) or £140 fitted. Alternatively, for an even greater increase in airflow giving subsequent gains in torque choose our Silicon TIK and Intercooler Hoses package at £150 the set or £200 fitted**. Digitec Stage 2 also benefits from an upgraded (where applicable) Stage 2 map, which adds additional fuelling to compliment the increased airflow to maximise the benefits of fitting the TIK pipe.

Digitec Stage 3: With increased air-intake into the engine, this naturally leads to the need for increased exhaust! Digitec are therefore proud to announce a recent development, in conjunction with Smart-Sport Ltd ~ the home of Blindschleiche exhausts, of a brand new stainless steel Digitec Freeflow Sports Exhaust which replaces the standard fortwo and roadster exhaust hiding behind the existing valance for that subtle/stealth look! Recent independent dyno figures on this exhaust alone produced a staggering increase of 14bhp on an otherwise standard 698cc fortwo cabrio! Thus, Digitec Stage 3, combines that of the full silicone option of stage 2 and the upgraded remap (where applicable) with this new exhaust to make-up this superb tuning package which will satisfy even the most enthusiastic of smart drivers.
